Drive your own dog team on a 1 hour dog sledding adventure in the hills north of Fairbanks, Alaska. Learn how to harness a sled dog and mush your own team of Siberian huskies!

 

EXPERIENCE:

Embark on an authentic Alaskan mushing adventure by driving your own dog team. Learn how to harness a sled dog, and how to slow and stop your team before taking off on a scenic trip that will take you four to six miles roundtrip through beautiful old-growth boreal forest to the top of a ridge, where vast panoramic views of the White Mountains and the Chatanika River Valley await.

In this experience, you’re not just a passenger; you’re actively steering a team of 4-6 dogs across six miles of scenic, winding trails in the hills north of Fairbanks, Alaska.

Before departure, your guide will introduce you to your team and give you a lesson on how to drive the sled. The tour lasts 2-3 hours from arrival to departure, with at least one hour spent on the sled.

We make sure to pause to capture photos along the trail. No prior mushing experience is necessary, as cold weather gear is provided.
