21+ Charity Comedy Underground @ The Grog to benefit Our Neighbor’s Table!

Join us for a hilarious night of comedy at The Grog Restaurant in Newburyport, MA! This in-person event promises to be a laughter-filled extravaganza, all for a great cause. Our Neighbor’s Table will benefit from the proceeds of the evening, so you can feel good about having a great time. Our comedians perform all over New England and are ready to give you a night full of laughter! Your comedians for the evening are:

Host, Mark Moccia. Mark is the founder of Moccia Comedy Productions and loves giving back to the community. In just a little over 2 years, Moccia Comedy Productions has already (as of this writing) raised nearly $92,000 for local charities from Maine to Boston!

Headliner, Carolyn Plummer. Carolyn has been doing comedy professionally for over 20 years. I have traveled extensively and to many parts of this country few have dared to venture. I have worked at clubs, colleges, dead animal lodges, theatres and corporations appearing with many of the top headliners in the business. I have participated in numerous festivals including the Burbank Comedy Festival; where I was named Best of the Fest, Boston Comedy Festival and The Women in Comedy Festival. I performed at Denis Leary’s Comics Come Home 26 at the TD Garden for the Cam Neely Foundation. I also won the Woody Herman Jazz award for my trumpet playing abilities but I’m not one to brag. I am a versatile comic who is at home telling jokes in front of nuns or biker dudes.

Nic Dufault. Lewiston, Maine’s Nic Dufault has opened for comedy legend Gilbert Gottfried. He also opened for “The Queen of Boston Comedy”, Christine Hurley. He was a finalist in House of Bacon’s Wednesday Night Live Comedy Competition and also advanced to the quarterfinal round of the Empire Comedy Summer Classic in Portland. His hilarious stories, impressions, and fun-loving personality has been winning audiences over from Portland to Bangor and beyond.

Jolanda Logan. Jolanda Logan. Jolanda Logan is a Stand-Up Comedian, performing all over New England, with her own unique mix of upbeat charm and sharp observational humor. A devoted wife and mom of one, she makes no secret of annoyingly adoring the two guys in her life.

Jack Lynch. Jack Lynch. Jack Lynch is a veteran of the Boston comedy scene who has toured the United States and parts of Canada, entertaining crowds with his sarcastic view of the world. Jack pokes fun at his struggle with addiction and his now long term recovery. Jack has shared the stage with Bill Burr, Billy Gardell, and Stephen Wright. Jack is also a licensed alcohol and drug counselor.
