An evening of resources and skill building to help faith leaders navigate mental health and suicide prevention in congregations
Weber Human Services, Weber-Morgan Health Department and NUHOPE are partnering to provide an interfaith suicide prevention summit to promote evidence-based suicide prevention resources.
Who: Faith leaders in Weber and Morgan Counties
What: Dinner, resources and information on navigating mental health and suicide prevention within congregations
When: March 20, 2025, 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Where: Union Station (Browning Theater) – 2501 Wall Avenue in Ogden
Why:
- Increase knowledge on the risk and protective factors that relate to suicide.
- Learn how to navigate health health and suicide prevention within a congregation
- Learn how to support and minister to congregation members who suffer a loss of a loved one or friend to suicide.
- Interact with resources available in Weber/Morgan county for mental health care and postvention care.
