10:15-10:55 – US Policy Update (Andrew Prior; Wade Sutton) – This session will discuss the state of play and hot topics (tariffs, reconciliation, etc.).

10:55-11:30 – DPL & DCL Regulations (Elizabeth Nelson; Bobby Gardner) – This session will summarize the final and proposed DPL & DCL regulations.

11:30-12:10 – Pillar One & Two (Steve Kohart; Wade Sutton)- This session will provide a general update and US reaction, cover December 2024 guidance, and discuss compliance matters.

12:10-12:40 – Lunch

12:40-1:10 – Section 987 Final Regulations (Rebecca Lee; Adam Williams) – This session will summarize the final 987 regulations.

1:10-1:40 – PTEP Proposed Regulations (Wade Sutton) – This session will summarize the proposed PTEP regulations.

1:40-2:10 – Cloud Computing Regulations (Natalie McParland; Rebecca Stone) – This session will discuss the final and proposed cloud computing regulations.

2:10-2:20 – BEAT Proposed Regulations (Rebecca Lee) – This session will summarize the proposed BEAT regulations.

Field of Study: International Tax Learning

Objectives: After attending this meeting, participants will understand the latest US policy developments. Participants will learn about new regulations regarding disregarding payment losses, dual consolidated losses, 987 transactions, previously taxed earnings and profits, clouding computing, and the base erosion and anti-abuse tax. Participants will also learn about Pillar One & Two updates and guidance.

Preparation: No advanced preparation required.

CPE/CLE Credits possible: 4.0 CPE/CLE Credits possible: CPE/CLE requirements vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. TEI’s education programs are designed to meet NASBA standards and are generally accepted by CPE/CLE agencies across the United States.
