Kiss, by Chilean playwright Guillermo Calderón, is set in Damascus, Syria. This premise lands us into the heart of the play’s question: how do we go about cross cultural representation, when so much gets lost in translation? Through a twisty and comedic path, Kiss attempts to go deeper than a superficial cultural dalliance.
