Arrive at the dirt ramp on Willow Beach to meet the guide. Then, put on your lifejacket, grab your paddle, and hop onto the kayak to start exploring the river. Let the slow current take you along and admire the geological wonders along the way. Stop off at Willow Beach National Fish Hatchery.
Learn how rainbow trout are stocked in the river weekly here. Paddle to Emerald Cave, a small natural cave on the Colorado, known for its green water. After this, continue on to a historic trailhead. Then, go on a quick walk to a lookout point and take some memorable photos.
Following this, continue to Emerald Cove, a beautiful beach. Take a break here and rest on the sand. Eat some snacks and have a drink. Finally, kayak back to the starting point to complete the activity. Get off the kayak, take off your life jacket, and say goodbye.
