Does your partner say you don’t really listen? Tired of fights where you feel unheard and misunderstood? In our “Love Language of Listening” 2-Hour workshop, you’ll master skills to deeply connect through the power of “holding space.”

What you’ll learn:
How to be present and focus 100% when your partner shares feelings (no more getting distracted!)
Questioning techniques that show you care and want to understand
Ways to validate emotions without judgment or trying to “fix” things
Creating a safe, sacred space for hard conversations
Listening and “Holding Space” as an act of love and path to intimacy

This interactive workshop will teach couples the powerful skill of active listening and how to apply it to build trust, understanding, and deeper intimacy in their relationship. Active listening fosters presence, attunement, resonance, and ultimately trust (P.A.R.T.) – the keys to strong, loving partnerships.

Session Outline:

The Importance of Active Listening in Relationships (30 mins)

Understanding barriers to listening in intimate partnerships
The P.A.R.T framework: Presence, Attunement, Resonance, Trust
How active listening builds trust, understanding and intimacy

Interactive Listening Exercises (60 mins)

Partner exercises practicing active listening on relationship issues
Self-reflection on common distractions during vulnerable sharing
Techniques for “holding space” and validating feelings

Integrating Skills into Daily Life (30 mins)

Commitment to daily listening practice with your partner
Creating a “sacred space” for open communication
Q&A and personal action planning

Drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), neurolinguistic programming (NLP), and mindfulness practices, this workshop harnesses the brain’s neuroplasticity to rewire unhelpful patterns and cultivate new habits of attentive listening. Through science-backed exercises, you’ll learn to become aware of negative thought loops, reframe critical inner voices, and stay grounded in present moment awareness during emotional conversations.

For couples, active listening is critical for understanding each other’s needs, building emotional intimacy, resolving conflicts with empathy, and keeping love alive. This hands-on session combines instruction, personal examples, interactive partner exercises, and self-reflection to equip you with transformative listening skills.

ABOUT YOUR COACH:
Hi! I’m Jocelyn. I’m the creator and Chief Visionaire for Happy Partners Project and the Relationship Check-In(TM) Method. I’m also a multi-disciplinary relationship coach.

Here’s a little bit about my journey to birthing this product for you!

For a long time, I identified as a serial entrepreneur — the do’er, the go-getter. Then in my late 20’s, sparked by adrenal fatigue from startup life and lack of boundaries, I hit one of the most meaningful personal rock bottoms of my life. My health, my businesses and my relationships were challenged, culminating with an extremely toxic, on-again-off-again relationship. The realization that the relationship echoed childhood trauma I experienced was a wake-up call — “Wow! I have some deep work to do to break this pattern.”

I tapped into personal development work and Cognitive Behavioral Psychology + coaching programs. I discovered my life mission — to use communication and relationships as a framework for creating legacy change during my lifetime.
Now I identify as a change-maker here to teach healthier communication styles and healthier ways of being so people can be the best partners and the best people they can be in their lifetimes.

I created the “Relationship Check-In” Method in 2018 to support my own relationship and to give couples a proactive tool for creating healthy relationships.

Over 18,000 people are using this method since we re-launched the product in Feb. 2021.
