23rd Annual Girls Day Out – Dryden, NY

The 23rd Annual Girls Day Out event is hosted by Tompkins Cortland Community College and is in collaboration with TST Boces PTECH Academy.

This unique day of activities for girls ages 10-14 will be held on March 8, 2025, International Women’s Day. This year, the theme of International Women’s Day is to #AccelerateAction, and we plan to do just that. We will engage and empower ALL girls in our community by equipping them with the tools to go out into the world as we see them: equal, powerful, and unstoppable.

The day’s events will include the following:

• An interactive career fair with accomplished women from the Cortland community and surrounding areas.
• Hands-on STEAM-based activities with technology to explore science and create art.
• Time to swim and have fun with friends

Lunch and a snack will be provided, along with a 2025 Girls Day Out giveaway item.

When: March 8, 2025, 9:30-3:00 pm (full schedule coming soon)

Where: Tompkins Cortland Community College Main Campus, Dryden, NY

Make sure to bring a bathing suit, a towel, and water. Please leave valuables at home.

Proceeds benefit YWCA Cortland’s Health & Fitness Program.

Price & Registration: Thanks to generous donations by donor EDF Renewables (Homer Solar Energy Center) and individual YWCA patrons, we are able to provide FREE admission to the FIRST 40 girls to register!

After the 40 free spots have been filled, the registration fee will be $20. If cost is a barrier, we have scholarships available and would like to accommodate as many people as possible! Please complete the Girls Day Out Scholarship Application Form if you would like to apply.

Early registration is strongly encouraged! We cannot guarantee day-of registrations for this event, as a limited number of spots are available.
