Don’t miss this upcoming event in Cambridge, MA. Happening on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Poster Session and Networking at MIT Schwarzman College of Computing, 8th Floor. Doors open at 5:00 PM.

This special event has been organized by a number of groups and includes a panel discussion, poster session, and networking opportunities.

March 2025 1037th NESACS Meeting is a special collaborative event featuring organizers from MIT Women in Chemistry+, Harvard Women in Chemistry, Empowering Women in Organic Chemistry, Women Chemists Committee and the Younger Chemist Committee

Schedule of Events

5:00 PM – 6:00 PM Panel Discussion (Location TBA)

6:30 PM – 9:00 PM Poster Session and Networking Reception (MIT Schwarzman College of Computing, 8th Floor)

Posters can be set up either from 4:30-5:00 PM or from 6:00-6:30 PM.

Andrea Reid (Dechert LLP, Partner, Intellectual Property)

Lauren Prentis (Pfizer, Computational Chemist for the Medicine Design team, Immunology and Inflammation research unit)

Panel Moderator:

Carolyn Cohen (AbbVie, Principal Scientist, and co-lead of the Empowering Women in Organic Chemistry (EWOC) Boston chapter)

Poster Session:

Poster Applications from over 60 people were received and selected poster presenters will be notified. Posters are also expected from a diverse array of companies including: Sanofi, Pfizer, Merck, Amgen, Snapdragon, MOMA Therapeutics, Blueprint, and others.

A diverse array of appetizers and beverages will be available at the Poster Session and Networking Reception. Appetizers will include GF, DF, Vegan and Halal options.

THE PUBLIC IS INVITED – RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.

Parking is available at your own expense. You may find it useful to book ahead. Here’s a few options: The Albany Street Garage (36 Albany St) can be accessed after 2:30 pm at the normal parking rate. The Mass Ave Lot (139 Mass Ave). There are also meters on nearby streets.
