What makes content appropriate for teenagers? A high school drama club wrestles with that question as a pivotal school board meeting decides whether or not to allow them to perform a controversial play. Confronting the delicate balance between free speech, censorship, and artistic expression, the students covertly meet to read and discuss the play in question. As tensions rise, the audience becomes the deciding factor, casting real-life votes to choose between two endings: one where the show goes on, and one where it doesn’t.
